The Horizon was a Japanese-market touring derivative of the CBX750F, launched in spring 1984. Honda kept the 747 cc hydraulic-tappet four but switched to shaft drive, fitted a squarer tank and headlight with a small bikini fairing, and swapped the wheel sizes to an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear with a drum brake at the back. It later served as the base for the CBX750P police bike used by Japanese prefectural police.
